1265x battery holder problem?

Has any one ever had their machine upgraded to the 1266 battery holder set up? If so tell us who can do it and how much it cost. I am getting ready to buy one from my friend and he has the battery holder all taped up looking like a pile of manure, the rest of the machine looks good! Thanks for any info guys!
 
Not sure what the 1266 cover is like but the new 1265 cover from Fisher is no longer a pull and push knob it's a screw on knob, it has a bolt attached to it and screw in to tighten the cover on. Need a pic let me know.
 
Hey shooter please post that picture or pm me where I can see it, If I can convert mine over would be better than the push on one I have. I have replaced mine years ago but don't put much faith on holding anymore, I now use 2 elastic bands to go around the cover and casing to hold it down: Thanks
