1236x2's & ID Edge's are still available with lifetime warranty's :thumbup:

With all this talk of trash area hunting, the 1236's, and the ID Edge are tough to beat. Certainly with a lifetime warranty.

One has a good choice of optional coils for them also.

Bill was my understanding the above units were all given a 5 year warranty by the new Fisher..Perhaps I read your post wrong as inquiring minds would like to know...Perhaps Fisher Customer Service could chime in on this one to help on their handling of the warranty of Fishers made before they acquired the old Fisher..

Hi Dan

No reason for them to chime in, it's a easy answer. The units that the distributors & dealers had left over in stock maintained the original warranty. In this case the ones I'm talking about have a lifetime one. Any that are coming from the factory stock now, carry a 5 year warranty. So the dealers that have them left over, when sold, will maintain a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
