1236x2 volume knob

Does anyone know how to tighten up the volume knob on the 1236x2? I took the nut and washer off the back and slid everything forwards to see if it had a tightening nut on the inside back,All the other knobs has a lock washer onthe back except the volume knob! i havent taken it any farthercause i dont want to screw it up.
