1236x2 gets old silver coin

Eric

New member
First time out with my 1236x2. My field is extremely trashy but the 1236x2 performed like a dream. Found 4 coins and some other items. The best one is this 1641 coin. Too bad that it is damaged.
But the most happy I am with the 1236x2. What a machine....

Eric.

Yup what a machine!

PS when you get those Jolly Rogers make sure that the volume controls allow for a good setting after you set the volume on the detector. I liked to set the detector volume just into the boost area, usually no higher than around 7. The Jolly Rogers I tried did not have good volume control potentiometers, hopefully they have updated them since.

I really love this detector. Have a 4 inch coil as well and a 5 inch is on the way. Am not sure if I will go for the 10.5 incher. Hope to post more nice finds soon.

Eric.

Eric, nice find for sure! Hey, I'm so happy to see that you are still around this board. I had major surgery last May 2008 and its been a long hard recovery for me. I'm feeling better these days and happy to be raising my Gamefowl here in the States. I am coming with the family to visit my wifes family in Cebu this July or Aug. I will also be looking to buy our second house and or some land to build one, in Cebu. My plans are to move there in the next year or two. Hopefully we can meet up someday and go hunting together.

Sincerely,
Ned

Kumusta man diha?

I am sorry to hear all that but I hope you are doing well now. We also have a house in Cagayan de Oro [mindanao] but we put it for rent for now. I am not ready for retirement yet.....
Cebu is really nice and I have a good time there always. Every time I have to visit fort San Pedro. If you look around there I am sure there are many chances to buy a nice place there. I know a few people that detect there and one is a regular poster on one of the forums. keep in touch and I am sure we can meet up once...

Take care. Eric. The Netherlands.
