121 clad this morning

I am starting to get tired of the play grounds. I have two more to go to complete my goal. It was to hit every play ground in the town of 70,000 across the freeway from where I live. I have not touched the ball fields, just the wood chip areas. The swimming pool I went to in the woods, I found 2 wheats in 2 hours. I would rather get one wheat in an hour then all this clad. A gold ring might make it more interesting. If I want money I will work over time. I just think I like finding the older things more.
The Ace can find food for me. I did find a chocolate in the red foil.

Sometimes, the playgrounds are quick and right up the street. No gators, snakes or mosquito infested swamps to wade through. The real challenge is to learn to appreciate all apsects of the hunt and enjoy the blessings that stem from the fact that you CAN.
Good haul and nice pic of everything you found, including the trash.
Honest reporting.

finding a good jag of clad to work up some battery money every once in a while isn't too bad. Good job!

I played by the rules. I dug EVERTHING! I want my gold and I want it now.
With the coins I have been finding, it seems like no one is Mding the play grounds much. In the last month, I have found 4 rings. One being a gold class ring. I went to the school to get some names to match the initials on the ring. Made some calls, but haven't found the owner yet.

The shuttle launched to night. It is a awesome site at night. The whole eastern sky lights up at night. It then dims and looks like a giant torch. I can see the stages separate. A couple of minuets later, I can hear the sound of the launch. The pictures are really bad. The launch caught me off guard and I ran out into my back yard to take some quick pictures. I live about 45 miles from the launch site.

That is too cool. Gold rings are rare but they do show up....usually when you least expect them. I too am trying to find the owner of a grad ring from the Paramedics grad class of 2001. I phoned their association, told them that I found the ring, gave them the name inscribed in the inside, my home phone number and no one has called???? Weird eh! So....it just might end up being a keeper! :)

being able to see a grand sight like that, has got to be as good as finding a gold ring!
I actually found my very first gold ring today, along with a tonne of coins. I'll post on them tomorrow, with a couple of pictures.
Looks like your doing alright in the coin department anyway.:poke:
Mick Evans.

... I joke about the Hog and Hominy Effect, but the fact is that real whompin' keeper rings are pretty rare (Dont anybody say "a ring is a ring is a ring" ...you know what I mean).
Especially on dry land.

Nice pile of stuff  .....I know what you mean about the old stuff.Silver is slim pickings in my area but lots of clad.Been doing some research at a library and starting to map out older sites.Keep us posted on your finds.
