Hello everyone just bought a 12 x 10 coil for the golden and air testing and playing with the notch and gunnar is right it seems like i lost some of the disc and that some of tones have changed as well on different items as well some of my silver qauters have changed tone as well so i think i will use my 12 x 10 on the silver which works great but anyways i thought i might share this experience.

I have seen poeple hardwire the 8x9 to a compadre umax coil and it seems to get good depth i have to wounder if the 10x12 was hard wired to a compadre and the ground re adjusted that you just may and i say MAY have a very deep seeking machine i never tried it because i would have lost any resale value and i do not have the cach to experiment or the nohow and im not a good speller Good luck whith the umax and the 10x12
