12" DOUBLE D COILS ?

I'VE DECIDED TO BUY A 12" DOUBLE - D COIL FOR MY EXCALIBUR. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE
SUNRAY S-12 INTRUDER COIL AND THE 12" EXCELERATOR COILS. BOTH ARE DOUBLE-D COILS. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE THAT HAS USED THEM.

iv used the S12 on my Sovereign GT and by far it is the best coil for beach hunting iv ever used! its as deep as the WOT 15' and more stable.and pinpoint was good.found many dimes @ 15" with it. i would think with the Excal you could expect about the same depth or a little less.

BIGDAVE, I use an excal, and am also interested in a setup with a larger coil. I have received alot of positive feedback about the S-12 and decided that is my best option. I just need to find a source that will give me the best price. If you have heard about any good deals please let me know, thanks.

i use all sunray coils. for my explorer and GT. like bling said it runs extremely stable on the beach. alot better then the wot 15 and its very light. i shoulder mount the control box . i feel i can go for hours with no stress. i got all my sunrays from rick (nd) and you couldnt find a better guy to deal with. dont worry about what it cost, if you want it buy it. you wont look back.
