Had a long three day weekend and I put the coil to the ground by 7am all three mornings. Probably almost 30 hours of swing time.
My first good find was hitting at 10:08 mostly then 12:08 when I found the sweet spot. Nice little gold ring with I think is a real pearl. It was in sandy swingset area about 3 inches deep.
The silver's came from a very old park that is nearly hunted out. Just finding a stray silver here and there in the not so obvious places. The quarter was only 5 inches , I was thinking pop can for sure it was so loud. I think it hit 12:47 a couple times. It was perfectly flat with face down.
That's my first ever dry ground gold. 2000 more low tones till the next one I suppose.
A couple of those dimes were really flaring up to 12:45 a few times ,must be the wet ground.
