11 TARGETS TODAY:

Nancy-IL

Well-known member
Larry and I waited a bit too long to go out detecting this morning. :twodetecting: I lasted about 45 minutes in this heat and humidity. :stretcher: These are all my targets I dug. Those square things are so aggravating! They'll fool me every time! :ranting: Came across this Merc about 5" down. I was using my stock coil and hunting in relic mode. It's a big corner lot and I finally got permission to hunt it. Now if only the weather would cooperate and get a bit cooler. We've been in a heat advisory since Sunday. :surrender: Thanks for looking and try to stay cool. HH to all, Nancy

Nice payoff for your 45 minutes Nancy! Coin has good definition too! The humidity can be a killer here in Jersey also.

I think those square things are for nailing tar paper on roofs. I see you couldn't wait to get to that lot. I can't believe you were out at all today. I like the dime, anything that was made in 1944 is good. :lmfao: Nice finds Nancy

I think that dime was meant for you to find Rob, Nancy just didn't want to wait for you to come down this way to go hunting.

Nice finds Nancy, it reached 101 here today with a heat index of 110.............:surrender: .....It just seems like yesterday you were posting those pictures of all that white stuff......

Now if you were me Rob, do you think you would be able to wait to swing the coil over the dirt a few time? It was calling me......Sorry I got your dime though.

So that's what those darned square things are. I know I've found quite a few of those things at older homes. Thanks Rob, and HH to all, Nancy

Thanks Bob. It's down right NASTY out there today. You're right, it wasn't that long ago when I was showing the pictures of that 4 letter word. You be careful out there. HH to all, Nancy

Thanks Hank, It was fun getting out for a bit and playing in the dirt. It was very easy digging and the soil was moist. There was a lot of shade, but we still couldn't stay out long. HH, Nancy

very nice nancy, after mowing the block this morning i got a chance to go out found some clad then i got so hot i thought i was going to pass out, i got real dizzy and thought i better leave. i got home and i couldnt hardly talk my voice was different i was getting worried but after a cool shower i felt better. SO PLEASE EVERY ONE BE CAREFULL OUT THERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HUNT BY YOURSELF NO ONE WOULD OF FOUND ME TODAY. THANKS BRYAN
