11 ring day today

Went with one of my friends to a lake near Lapeer Mi. The water there was STRANGE. The silver rings aren't corroded and neither are the silver coins. They just have a copper tint. Two gold, 4 silver and 5 junk. The small silver one was made out of a dime. A sterling bracelet, 1935 merc and a 51 Rosy. A small silver religious medal and a brass one, A small copper spoke wheel and tire is a nice find. I wish I found the rest of the item it was on!!

The large token is interesting. It is from Montana. I will try to post that by itself. 4 wheat's and a dateless buffalo, and a king George Canadian penny plated and made into jewelry. Not many coins. This place is hit hard. I was finding all my items because I was digging iffy signals. Tons of iron in this lake and I was digging everything that gave me a high low or medium low or high sound on my CZ-21. Actually a silver ring was with the 1958 class ring and a junk ring was in the same hole as the large 10K mans ring with possible diamonds. It is an old ring. I am glad that whoever hits it only digs the solid targets!!

...that lake will be the source of many a great day for you.

You're really in a groove. I was at the lake last evening and today fishing with my brother. Without a wetsuit, it is STILL cold and cannot be entered for extended times. BUT...I'll get there.

Thanks for posting your successes. I can see what I'm in for!

Pretty unique token imho - especially as it was for employees only. How it got to a Mi lake, who knows :)

Looks to me that lumbering is the connection between MO and MI.A logger that worked for the co. in MO went to MI to work(logging) and lost the token there. My 2

Thanks for the reply's and thank you for the information on the company cubfan64. I wonder what the Br. stands for on the token? lumBeR? Anyway, it will be a while before I find another lake I can pull 11 rings out of in one day. I know of a lake I can, only if the rings were closer together. There are many to find at Strawberry Island!!

Thank you. Together they weigh 17.6 grams of 10K. The class ring has no readable school on it. This one I get to keep. I am not a good photographer that is for sure!! The owner of the company is BUT he has been too busy to help.
