11" Pro coil

Hey there

Does anyone know if these new coils are avaliable for purchase yet? Lighter and deeper sounds like a no brainer to me.......Thanks

NH Bob ordered one last week I think. Not sure from where. He should have it by now. I wish he would give us a field test report.

I emailed my local detector shop (Pro Stock Detectors) and he ordered two coils yesterday but said they will not ship for a couple weeks.

I'm beginning to wonder if the email we got from Minelab was misleading. In any event, we are waiting for two coils and a SE Pro to arrive.

Bryce what do you think will be better... the SEF 10X12 or the new pro coil? I imagine that they are probably similar as far as depth and stability?

to put the 10 x 12 through a thorough testing at a few of the sites I hunt. I have heard pretty good things about it...but won't know until I put some hours on it. I have a friend who will be getting the minelab coil...so we'll do some honest in field testing and comparisons when each of us locates a probable target.

BRYCE----Now that last post of yours is what I REALLY kept hoping to hear out of you. From following your posts-I see that you and your friends do such good tests & comparisons on coils where it really counts-in the field & on actual undug targets. Would you and your friends do this for all of us-when you get around to it.-----Give us a report on these coils & how you feel they stack up one against the other?-----SEF 10X12--new 11" Lightweight--Excellerator 14X10 & FBS 1050. Now that WOULD be interesting-we would be getting a report & comparison on those 4 coils from our own people without any - - - -! Hope you'll do it. Del
