Went out this morning to an old park where I've had some luck lately. I've found a silver coin on 5 of my last 6 hunts here, including the seated quarter a week ago. It was 35 F this morning, but the sun was out, so it wasn't bad with an extra sweater. Found a good amount of clad quarters, which tells me this area hasn't been hit very hard lately. Then got a good flutey signal, showing 5 or 6 inches deep. Silver coins are usually a bit deeper than that here, but it turned out to be a 1923 Mercury dime. The pic is everything I dug, I have cut way down on rusty nails and screw caps. I have started to rely on the sound almost exclusively.
