11/18 Park Silver - # 194 with Cortes

I've been hunting parks and fields with the Silver uMax - Super machine. Only qualm I had with it, many of my parks are loaded with pennies and I wanted the visual id so I could avoid some of that digging holding out for the better signals... So, I found a Cortes at a super price and she arrived today.

Hit one of my favorite parks. She worked great. I dug the penny signals to test depths, vdi numbers, and display. All on the money, so I began skipping them after I felt comfortable with it.

Find of this 2 hour hunt was ring # 194 on the year, .925, 1.7 grams.

Thanks! Yes, #194, thankfully. I started the year with a ridiculous goal of 200 thinking it would be impossible to hit. I hunt 3-5 days per week on average. Roughly over 200 hunting days this year.

What kinds of locations are you finding that amount of silver rings? Soccer fields?

Living on the gulf coast, I primarily hunt the Beaches with the Tesoro Sand Shark. During the cooler months, if I am not at the beach, I hunt parks and ball fields. Baseball, Softball, Soccer, most any of them do. You know what they say ... Where people congregate is where the finds can be made.

If you use the Notches it would be helpful to knock out more junk by turning the Threshold counter clockwise and still get ladies gold rings.
