Im looking to buy either a 10X5" DD or a 5" DD coil for my G2 witch one gets better depth, into tighter places ?.... any input would be helpful
Thanks Gary G.A.P.metal

I have been using the 5X10 and really like it and don't notice much depth difference between it and the stock coil. I do not have the 5" but I would think the 5X10 would get better depth and you can still get into tight spots with it and can cover a lot more ground. Sorry I can't comment on the 5" but just wanted you to know, I think the 5X10 really performs well.

I Have & use all three---11" DD, 5X10" DD & the 5" DD.-----The 11" gets the best depth followed by the 5X10" and then, the 5".-----Obviously, the 5" gets in tight areas best & gets a little better target seperation (due to it's physical size).-----They are all three just excellent coils but you asked about the 5X10" & 5".-----If I had to choose between one of those two coils it would be the 5X10" due to the fact that you get better ground coverage than the 5" but still get excellent seperation.----I've found a lot of good stuff with both those coils and really can't imagine being without either one of them.-----It's funny but when I first got the 5X10, I didn't think I would probably like it all that well---but---when I used it awhile--that coil is "addictive"! :)----I find myself using it more than the other two.-----Hope this helps with your decision making.-----My best advice would be (if you can afford it), get 'em both, you won't regret it.-----------Del

I sold my 11 and 5 inch coils and only run the 5 x 10
I do have different machines with several coil sizes to choose .
The 5 x 10 great in the brush or in trash , so it works for me.

Hello to all.

Do you know how bad it is to sit here and read about the 5x10 or 10x5 coil and watch the videos and the delivery man has not should up yet.
He better move faster than he got here that is all I have to say.
I have a question.
What is the smallest piece of gold that you have found with this coil?
Still waiting.
