10x12 SEF Excelerator scores double silver

I hunted a old school today using my 10x12 SEF again. I hunted for a couple of hours when I got a strange signal reading penny dime VDI 81-82 and then it would read 25 cents with a VDI 91-92. I walked around the target and swung the coil again. Same reading showing a depth of 6 inches. I dug down about 6 inches and nothing. I put my Sunray probe into the hole and it indicated it was deeper. I went down to about 8 inches and recovered a 1964 silver dime. I checked the hole again with my probe and it indicated another target. I dug around and recovered a 1959 silver quarter. I just can't say enough about this 10x12 SEF coil. It gets great depth and the VDI numbers are accurate. Thanks for looking. HH Dennis in Idaho

I'm really glad to hear you are doing so well with the 10x12. I'm waiting for my 6" to get here from JW. I'll be mostly using it and the 10" in Texas this winter. I think I will be buying a 10x12 this spring. Rob

You are going to love the 6" DD Excelerator. When you headed south? HH Dennis in Idaho

Good job Dennis:thumbup:

Nice digs Dennis, congrats on the double silver. WTG.

You lucky thing! Two silvers in one hole. Just don't get much better than that. Love the USA key and is that a horse-shoe ring? I'm sure it's not all luck. Know what I mean? ;) I love it and thanks so much for sharing. Not bad with only 6 pull-tabs. HH, Nancy

Its a childs junk ring. I found it before the silver so I think it brought me some luck today. HH Dennis in Idaho

Hi Dennis, I'll be heading for Texas around the week of Christmas. We'll see how the two coils work. Rob
