10K gold ring

Went out this morning with my IDX and shooter coil to one of my regular parks areas and searched the playground area. I have had decent luck getting clad coins out of this park in the past.

Got my clad, a tiny chainsaw, a Chuck E Cheese token and then just did a small search in a grass area and got a 10K gold ring just under a bunch of leaves.

Nice rat token...oh I like the chain saw... Oh the gold ring is nice too!:clapping: Great hunt................:detecting:

I had posted this on another forum and someone mentioned ,did I "test the diamonds?" Last year the only rings besides some silver rings found were all plated rings. So I thought this one was plated also and had thrown it in with my coin finds after digging it.. After getting home and looking close with a loupe I saw 10K on the band. I took over a dozen pics to get a better closeup of the hallmark stamp, and didn't really look at the ring except I knew it had a green stone. I tested 2 small clear stones with my Mizar diamond tester and they tested "OK" with a green light.

10K Gold AND diamonds WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
