10K Gold ring off the beach as 2013 draws to a close!

A short beach detecting trip paid off with a pretty 10K gold ring with an aquamarine stone set in it:clapping:. I think the weather spiking up to 83 F this past week helped to get a few more people on the beach and also I've been working a little harder trying to detect a ring or 2 before December 31st comes......we'll see what else I can find!.
Come Jan 1, this guy will be hitting the beach's harder than ever. Ive got to get some bills paid (property taxes) and I want to get 1 or maybe even 2 more detectors for fun and for back ups. It'll take a whole bunch of rings to do this though!! H.H. everyone!

I keep coming back to look at that aqua and that setting...really nice ring...looks custom made.... you either have to keep it, give it away, or sell it to somebody the way it is...much too nice to melt...have you taken it to a jeweler to see what something like that goes for?

83, your killing us GS....

Beautiful gold ring......

Thanks guy's and Mud, I haven't taken it to a jeweler yet. Looking at it again, it really is a pretty ring! One of my daughter's (I have 2 daughters and 2 son's) recently lost her wedding ring so Daddy!!!! kindly LOANED her this ring until my son-in-law buy's another wedding ring for her! You can believe the women in the family are constantly checking out the rings and jewellry I detect throughout the year!!! LOL.

Giving that ring to her is the best thing to do. You say she lost her wedding band.. You need to get out and find it for her.. I like that ring... KEN

WOW, congrats on the gold but that is one nice stone
