Went out for a short night relic hunt, couldn't find any good targets in the ol' honeyhole. I just couldn't get myself to leave until I pulled something worthwhile, then Bam!! Sweeeeet!! My first bling! And second gold ring of the year. This one is marked 10k and has 3 tiny little stones in it. Not sure that the stones are real, but they are so small and look like they have a little color to them, so I'm guessing that they are. How lucky am I?!?! Two gold rings in 3 months out of the newly dubbed "glory hole". Hope everyone else is having as much luck as I am, HH!!!

WOW nice find. what kind of detector are you using? and what kind of metal did it show up as on your display? again congrats!

Thanks! It's a bounty Hunter Challenger (similar to the tracker IV), real simple beep and dig machine, no display. It has two tones, high and low, and it came in as mostly high tones, kind of a faint signal, sounded like a deep bullet to me, thought I was going to pull up a roundball at 4-5 inches, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a ring at only an inch and a half deep. I figured that it was silver judging by the color, but when I wiped out the inside, 10k :yikes:

What a sweet find! I can't wait to get out there in the real world and hunt with my Tracker IV. Nice! Congratulations!

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for mine. I'll have to get out there and find it! Happy hunting!

Nice , I found a ring at a volley ball court the other day , but it turned out to be a $20 ring , I looked online and found the same style for 19.95 . Still fun find but I wish it was real .

Congrats Adam, now that's a nice find !!
