Were did you get your most goodies from?? Dry sand OR Wet sand and Water?
I leave on beach in Brooklyn, ny. I bougth exp2, and the season is over. Wonna be ready for next season

what you did mean you say Wonna be ready for next season?

Absolutely the wet sand for me! I don't find much in the dry beach sand. But, the sand cleaners come along every night or so and I think that messes up a lot. The wet sand works great for me. I never found a ring in the dry sand. The tides and such will move the wet sand around so you have a better chance at finding stuff after storms whereas the dry sand won't change.

Hello,

in general:

dry sand if I want coins.
water if I want gold.
wet only in winter during thunderstorms.

I primarily hunt the wet sand to the shallow surf with the Exp II. The season isn't over if you live near a beach. There's lots of stuff buried, it's just out of reach. All it takes is a good storm to move some sand out and uncover the goodies.

What beach do you live near? I grew up in Brooklyn (on LI now)

Hi Joe G . May be 50 feet away from the beach.
I agree the season isn't over. Every time I go to hunt, I find at least $2 cash.
Today we have first snow in new york.
