100 degree's ... detecting anyone?

We went yesterday and didnt find the CW camp we are looking for. Kim did find a nice Gary point. He forgot and left it in the Ranger so I guess I get to keep it. I am retired and he teaches school so being as he is out for the summer this is our busy time of the year. We will find the camp next week I got that old feeling...d2

Yep, but I start early and limit my hunt to about 2 hours. Yesterday I found two 3 ringers, a cuff eagle, and some pistol bullets. I'm heading back out in about 30 minutes. Be smart in this weather and drink lots of water.

hi everyone! i try to go as much as i can in the summer, but i don't detect as much. leave real early and keep the hunts short. we usually have mild winters here in central va., so the rest of the year is good. lots of water, and a jug of gatorade every other day keeps the muscle cramps down. maybe i can talk olddigger into getting out for a short hunt in the a.m. at one of his hot spots! hh,

Well not 100 but hot and humid. Went, stayed in the shade as much as I could and left the ear phones at home.
Still had a good time. Didn't find much though.

I, like GRAY GHOST, get up early and hunt for a couple hours. The fileds I hunt are high now with grass and I find more these critters than I do relics.
HH,
Stay Cool!

We had 94 with 95% relative humidity yesterday. I played in the dirt until 1PM. Absolutely brutal.
Going back now to collect some more mosquito bites. I am going to find my first beg, borrow, or steal. !

and try not to stay too late. really puts a damper on my detecting time though as i cant go out for most the afternoon. today i was out from 9 till 10 am. i was sweatin on my walk back home.
