#100................and BIG silver :twodetecting:

Hawkeye Jim

New member
Mrs. Hawkeye and I went back to the spot where I found the Durant Car Emblem on our quest to find silver number 100...........all the coins at this spot are real deep........I finally got a nice signal that read 12-46/47 and was about 7 to 8 inches deep, I was figuring maybe a deep quarter, boy was I pleasantly surprised when this walking lady popped out of the ground for silver number 100, (Sooper Dave must have ESP - thanks buddy)........a little later on I dug the 1925-S Merc and then Mrs. Hawkeye scored with the 1920 Merc. :inlove:

The only bad thing about this site........all the coppers are extremely corroded........ended up with nine wheaties and two Injuns, but boy are they toasty!!!

Thanks for looking and all the nice replys.........now for some Hawkeye football.

Hawkeye Jim.

Way to go Mr. & Mrs. Hawkeye. 100 silvers is awesome by itself. A walker for the 100th one is amazing, and to find some old Mercs and Injuns is a Great Hunt. Way to go you two and Congrats!

Way to go Jim, that's awesome! I knew it would happen and to have the 100th one be a walker is just gravy. You certainly have me beat this year, congrats!!! Now that you reached your goal, I wonder how many more will pop out before your season is over for the year. Each one you pull will add that much more pressur eon you next year, haha. And so the cycle continues.... -Marc
