Furious T said:trueblue, just weighed them...kitchen scales..10x5 weighs 1 lb 2 oz, 9x8 wighs 1 lb 1oz...so, not much difference. As regards separation, I think the 10x5 helps. Because it is narrower, then it can fit between the trash a bit better..I must say it is a while since I've used it because I've been playing with the 5.75 on my Eldorado and DeLeon...only got it a couple of months ago. It was one of those things that you say "must do that one of these days" and then forget. Finally got the 5.75 and wish I'd got it a few years ago. I've also got a 5.75 for the cibola and Tejon, and it's the coil I mostly use roand parks and places where there's plenty of rubbish. I've found heaps simply because I'm using the smaller coil. I can usually find the piece of rubbish that masked the coin so that I and others missed it previously. So the 9x8s are gathering dust while the little blokes are gathering goodies. HH Sapper.
Neil said:is this a misquote in weight or are the newer cleansweeps actually that light now? I had one years ago for the umax series, was one of the heaviest tesoro coils Ive ever used.

Furious T said:Just noticed Niel's post.... I am talking about the 10x5 eliptical....not the cleansweep.. I think the cleansweep is about 18x4 or 18x6, dont know for sure cos haven't got one. The 10x5 I talking about was first made for the Lobo Super Trac, but can be used on Cibola, Vacquero and Tejon as well...I hope this clears up any confusion was to which coil we are talking about.
