Quite possibly a dumb question, but does the SEF logo belong in the front (toe) or the back (heel) ?? I installed it with the logo in the back but it does'nt seem right because I can't lay the coil completely flat when I put it down. I want to be sure I'm not losing my mind here...thanks.

Never mind....it can only go on one way....I don't know what I was thinking...

Now that wear talking about a SEF 12x10 Will it go DEEP in a plowed filed???? Mickfin, Thanks,

Mick.... i hunt fields all the time and only use the SEF. Id say its not as much a problem as being able to reduce the space between the coil and soil. Also the hot rocks, iron and tuff minerals really limit the depth. BUT.... ive dug some pretty deep targets most BRASS. I normally hunt the fringe where constant nulling just breaks up outward first thats where you greater chance of deep finds are. Then like beach hunting .... i dig most targets that arent iron. In the trash you really need a smaller coil to work thru all that iron. There are some machines that do better in a field ... the F75 comes to mind because the distance between coil and soil dont seem to effect them as much. But ive gotten some great finds. This spring was really good for old coppers.
