10 Silver Sunday Afternoon...

Hello All,

It's been quite some time since I've found this many silver coins in a single outing.

Somewhat unusual: I've never found 8 mercs and only mercs in a day. All the mercs are without mintmarks.

Also 17 wheats.

Nothing old or rare, but it was much fun to keep popping silver out of the ground, and to occasionally see a bigger size coin rim in the dirt.

Ground is still frozen in places, but pretty much ideal detecting: weather sunny and 50s, ground nice and wet, grass has not yet began to grow.

I would call that pretty darn good Chris! It's 46* here and breezy out of the Northeast..I want to go out but not going to get sick before I see the Dr. this coming Thursday!

So you found some private permissions then Chris?:) Hell of a day I would say! Odd the Mercs are all plains....

[size=medium]Absolutely amazing hunt- that's a good year or even career for some! Still got issues with snow & somewhat frozen ground on the Cape. Congrats on all that silver!

Never had an 8 silver day, never. And I've never found a Franklin half. You exceeded my years total in one hunt!:sadwalk: Big congrats Chris!:clapping:

10 silver days are few and far between. Bet you were grinning from ear to ear.

Congrats on a fantastic hunt !

As a kicker Franklin halves and standing liberty quarters are not common...Would go back as you may have missed a few...Great day for sure..

Way to go Chris, that is awesome!

That is what I call a BLOWOUT day! Congrats on the greatest terms! A Franklin and an SLQ, with 8 MERCS! I'd take a month off! Sincere congrats! Envious as hell. My top is six and no half!
