My hunting buddy (Andy) found us a new site (old school) to hunt. The weather was really nice and we were cranked up and ready to hunt this new site. Andy did a test run on it yesterday and picked up a couple of silver dimes. Today he found a large cent, a lot of clad, a war nickel, and 4 rosies.
Not to be out done, I turned on the after burner and scooped up 10 silver coins..........3 mercs, 4 rosies, 1 war nickel, 2 silver Washington quarters, $2.50 in clad, .30 cents in Jefferson nickels, 17 wheats and 24 memorial pennies.......It was a lot of fun doing what we enjoy most as a hobby........................................Thanks Andy for the good site!

I posted a picture of Andy's Large Cent..........Our hunt lasted about 3.5 hrs...............................HH...........John

Sorry about the pictures, some are fuzzy...

Hello Jim.......The old schools are fun to hunt and usually good producers even after others have hunted them. the Minelab detectors are really hot on the trashy areas and deep small targets (dimes etc..).. have a good day..
