best day I ever had detecting my buddy dug 3 eagle a buttons too for a total of 13 military buttons dug in a 3 hour hunt.

not yet going back Monday, I would think there is a coin or two there too. We just found it yesterday actually on the way out of the place its a home site slash camp I do believe but will have to do some more digging to confirm. There was a lot of pewter spoon or fork pieces scattered and other odds and end pewter pieces. Thanks for the info on the N.C. button.

Nice finds buddy. Love the North Carolina button. Are those eagle buttons one piece? If so there pre civil war. But the Confederates would use militia uniforms. HH

they were all one piece. I knew they were pre but I will be able to tell more after we dig it some more.
