10 K Today

Treasure Mike

New member
Went to a swimming beach at Lake Washington in Seattle today after work. Weather has been raining off and on so hardly anyone there. Was searching the grassy area near the beach when I got a very solid and repeatable 18 hit on the MXT's VDI meter with the Bigfoot coil. Down about an inch I find this 10K gold ring. The diamonds test good but they are very small. It weighs 4 grams. Thanks for looking! Mike

Wow Nice Hit!
(Not by chance in the little lady's size is it?)
Was your 18 a solid constant #? I have'nt had time to get out with mine yet, but air test had it moving a little on ring...

That's another beauty to add to your collection! Gotta love the Big Foot's wide sweep. Nice find Mike!

I swept over it 3 times and each time it was at 18. That would actually be 16 with the stock coil. The Bigfoot tends to register about 2 to 3 numbers higher than the stock coil. One thing I have noticed is that rings or similarly shaped items VDI numbers usually do not vary by more than a few numbers unless there is another item close to it. Mike
