I need to get a smaller coil if I am to continue hunting these rocky areas...the 10" is too big for this type of detecting

Here's some pics from a hunt a couple of days ago.

Thanks for lookiing

Lorraine

the SLQ is dated 1929

Thanks for looking

wow nice 1950 class ring....person would be 80 years old if still alive....thats gotta be some tough diggin too.....

Now that's a great hunt!!! Congrats

left, also the LIBERTY, also the wreath that she is holding in her right hand, and that 's about it; and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the reverse...can't quite make out the "E pluribus unum on the reverse ..maybe with a bit more olive oil soaking it will come through, but I'm not betting on it.

I'm pleased to have gotten the date...that was important to me.

That's a very nice 10k class ring Lorraine.
The SLQs didn't hold the dates very well IMO. Most
that are found, the dates are either fading or gone.
Still a nice find and good looking coins.

Great ring find Lorraine!!

Sometimes a picture will enable the date to be seen if the contrast is good with the light from the right angle.

I printed the numbers exactly under the numbers on the coin.

Still quite difficult to discern , but in hand with the Volk lens, it is visible.

Congrats on the great finds!!

Very nice! I love how the ring cleaned up. It almost doesn't look like the same ring when the details stand out they seem larger. Beautiful job and nice photos!
