10" Eliptical DD coil for Tejon

I didn't know until yesterday that this coil even existed. Does it help the Tejon in bad ground, the way that DD coils usually help? Has anyone used one of these on a Tejon for relic hunting?

I am waiting for my 5x10 elliptical to put it on my vaquero!
to get small coins on heavy mineral it maybe the best!
i'll see.
isnt me on the pic

In moderate soil its no deeper than the stock 9 by 8, but you do get better coverage (bigger foot print). Unless you have bad ground this coil wont give you any greater depth over the stock coil.

...i did an airtest on vaquero and its pretty much the same with the 9x8 stock.not heavier but will be more comfortable to swing between the cornlines and it wont pick up little branches as the spider do simetimes.really impressive coil so far.the discrimination is all right:in air it rejects iron nail without any problam.i got 8.5" for a 7mm dia led.who wants better than it?
if it will work in the bad soil as well as it post to be it will be my favorit coil.
