10" coil cover

Has anyone here tried the generic 10" coil cover on the new 10''d2 coil from White's? I measured the coil and it is very close to 10". In fact it is 101/8"....jim
 
Who has a generic cover? Rob
 
I have looked at several web sites and can't find a generic 10" coil cover. Unless you are talking about the 10" EXcelerator coil cover, if so it will not fit.....:shrug:

As you can see below there shape is different.....
 
Then it is a Whites coil cover not a generic cover and it is the only one that will fit. What people have been looking for is a solid cover to fit the coil. There isn't a solid cover available now. Rob
 
I have a 10 X 14 open coil and I took a thin sheet of plastic I purchased at Hobby Lobby and cut it to shape then used zip ties to hold it on it sure helps with grass and weeds hanging it up......:thumbup:
