I dont understand why the mxt changes sound in the video when the voltage is regulated in the detector. But it does sound better.

Oh I forgot to say that the 10 AAA batteries bring it up to 13 volts that seems to make the detector run better. if I didn't use lithium-ion batteries I would try this.
