10.5 Coil Depth Questions

I can't comment on raw numbers because I've never really tested it.
I will say that the 5.5x10 DD I have is the best if both worlds.
You get the separation close to the 5" small voolil and the coverage almost what the 7.5x11 gets. That's why I got it.

From my experience depth is on par with the stock 11" coil.

I mostly use the 10"x5.5" coil now, almost no need for the 11" coil as if I need more coverage I'd just use the Mars Tiger coil.

I have the following coils for my Racers:

Makro RC13 5"x4.5" DD Coil
CORS Shrew 6.5"x3.5" DD Coil
Makro RC26 DD 10"x5.5"
Makro RC29V 11"x7" DD Coil
Mars Tiger 13" x 10” DD Coil‎
Makro RC40 15.5''x13'' DD Coil

The RC40 coils works very well. Tested it in a plowed field near a Spanish era site and made some nice finds with it, including a small Phoenix cuff button that sounded off loud and clear. It's not light, but what 15.5" coil is?
