1 week later 3 plugs

this is now 1 week later , and the full plug on the left is growing back well the hing plug in the middle is dead and my slit is small patch of brown so full plugging will work make cuts deep and the slit is acceptible

the full plug seems to have disturbed the grass in the center less so it recovered faster one test is not enogh i will have to repeat this over in another spot
 
On nice yards I'll mark my recovery location with one of those cheap marking flags you get from Lowes or Home Depot. Then when I'm done I'll water those spots with my plastic watering can. Adding a little Miracle Grow works wonders. This may get you into some of the nicer older yards once you explain what your going to do. The biggest problem is the owner sees all the flags. So after you mark 5 or so recoveries water those in and pull the flags. Just leave the watering can in the yard while you hunt. This is exactly how I got into my sisters yard and her neighbors yard as well.
