It rained all morning, and around noon it stopped and the sun came out so decided to drive around town and look for a spot to hunt. I was driving by a park and saw that Parks and Recreation workers had removed some sod to redo and area in the park. I hunted in the mud for about an hour and recovered a Buffalo nickel with no date and 5 wheat pennies dating from 1929 to 1952. I also dug some other clad coins. It has been awhile since I have dug a Buffalo nickel and so many wheaties. HH Dennis in Idaho

Those are great, way to go Dennis....

Buffalo nickels are one of my favorite coins. HH Rob

Fantastic detecting......also with you noticing the sod was off. :look: That's an hour well spent! Very nice! HH, Nancy
