1 hour compadre relic hunt

Goes4ever

New member
I had an hour to hunt before the rain came in so grabbed my Tesoro and the the field across the road from me. I have been pounding this field for the last 4 yrs and it had gave up lots of old coins and relics. Several large coppers, fatty Indians, flat buttons etc. today managed to squeeze out a few more things. The heart heel plate was a nice surprise, got a small ring couple buttons and not sure what the Singer item is?

Nice going with Compadre. That heal plate sure is interesting looking. I found a ring just like the one that you found a few weeks ago in the woods on an old wagon trail.

Not all wedding bands are made of gold.

the heart heel plate has quite an interesting story, if your not familiar with it, do a google search the story might "shock" you!!!! This is the 3rd or 4th one I have dug......I seem to find several of these type wedding bands on 1800 sites, I think I have dug 4 now just this fall from the fields, seems like people loose a lot of them around here lol

Thats a nice producing spot , like that door thing,

The Singer item is most likely just a decorative item that went on the machine on the larger shank where the handwheel was attatched to.

4 heel plates in there! Must have been a fun place in its time. Don't know if it's my age now, but when find things like you have there I seem to think about the people that they came from. May sound dumb, but the why they where there, doing at the time. things like that come to mind.

Nce finds, the heel plate looks cool, going to google it as I don't know anything about & always like learning. The Compadre is one amazing little machine.
