hi all, i have two questions concernign the gt:
i have been getting interference from underground cables, i'm guessing either high voltage or some communication cables , am not sure if maybe also from mobile phone stations , there was one in the area where i was today. just wanted to know if that is ok or should the sov gt take care of that. the interference manifests itself as a pulsating threshold in am, and nulling and falsing in disc. it goes away when i walk away from where the cable is located.
another question concerns the beach, i was going in all metal and the threshold would react when i was passing over the salt water line, i thought the gt would be more stable on the beach, i did turn the sens down to10 o'clock or so but still passing over water would cause the threshold to change.
watching the movies of the excal on youtube i saw that it was very stable and would not react to salt water at all, and since the excal is the sov, i am wondering if maybe i am doing something wrong or is my gt malfunctioning
thanks, cheers!
