It took me 3 and a 1/2 hrs to find it, 14k Gold Mens Wedding Ring. It has the first names and date they got married. $3.60 in chump change. a fixer upper truck, more fishing weights for me to lose...There was another guy there swinging to beat the band, mostly a foot off the ground, whites I think. I wonder if he views this forum? I used my explorer xs with stock coil, the battery only lasted 5 hrs. I hate that! Oh well...On the way home I stopped off to a friends house and had a cold one as he was working on a Harley, it started to pour and lightning struck a tree in yard and blew off part of it and must have come down power lines and entered his garage as I was leaning up against furnace...it went it to my arm ( saw it flex) and out my foot(it jerked up) into the cement floor I guess...we all seen a light in garage...lightning bouncing around I guess...It's good to be alive!!!..:stars: :smoke: Cheers! :beers: Pic of tree shards included...My first high voltage experience

Hey Mattocman, not a bad find! and always nice to live to tell the tale. That strike may extend your battery life.

Have you ever put your tongue across a 9 volt battery...thats what it felt like, as my mouth had that taste in it and tingley...Man I hate that!

Wow! Are you for real? Lightning went in your arm and came out your foot??? Holy shiznit! Well congrats on being alive. AND on the ring! :beers:

I was sitting in a metal chair with padded seat and arms and it was up against the furnace...Mobil home type...so all I can think of is the chair took some of it to ground, to help disapate it but I am not sure...Tongue felt like a 9 volt battery assault. Weird feeling....thanks. No burn marks... :hot:

The Guy's house lost 2 telephones, and a TV, and the furnace that I got was leaning against, Zapped out from lightning, But Mattockman survived!! :yo:
