Sunday night while working the negative low tide with the Xcal I got, $.77 cents, two sinkers, part of a spark plug, gold spoon and this really sweet 14k white gold with eleven diamonds. Strong west wind kept me out of the water but there was lots of beach to work:thumbup:

Saturday morning water hunt was my 3rd water hunt this year. I had gotten a call Friday night about a lost ring from a guy in Indiana who had been staying at the beach last week. He had lost his Tungsten/ with diamond wedding band a week ago. I told him there was a slim chance of finding it after a week had already gone by with all the other MDers out there and it had most likely already been found, but I would give it a shot since I was heading out Saturday morning. I got to the beach half hour before sunrise and there were MDers on the beach and two guys in the water with head lamps on already. Brandon, the guy from Indiana, knew exactly where and when he lost the ring, so I headed down the beach to the spot and started hunting. After a half hour of hunting with no ring found, I moved on. A couple hours in the water later I saw another hunter making his way in my direction and from a hundred yards away I recognized him. Stan is a hunter I've known for a few years, I first meet at an MD club meeting. Stan is also the same hunter I ran into last year the day after I found this really nice 18k diamond engagement ring on the beach. In conversation he told me the club had been out looking for the same ring the day after I found it. read story. http://www.findmall.com/read.php?26,2043677,2043677#msg-2043677 .. Anyway, after Stan and I had talked and shown what we had found so far, I mentioned where I had been looking for a lost Tungsten. He says "I found one there last Saturday,"... "Triton w/diamond, size seven?" I asked. He said that sounds right and would email me. We parted ways and I ended up finding another ring, this time a silver making my total 2 rings and $1.12 in clad. Later that day I got a email and picture from Stan..."Triton size seven, Bingo!" Emailed him back the contact info for Brandon in Indiana, who to say the least was elated, The ring is being mailed back today. WTG Stan.:clapping:..........GL ALL
