1.7 meg pix but with good optics

The picture looks a lot better in a photo shop. I used adobe to resize the pic and then try to upload and adobe does not have jpeg, bitmap or other formats doest it? I go to image and click on resize, save it then when it is to be up loaded to this site it says for my safety it only allows what I listed above.
