1:50 p.m.-my guitar finally arrived!!....

...When I opened up the case,it took me breath away...THEN;I picked her up and tuned her...Played my first song on her(Wildwood Flowers)....And I JUST KNEW I had made the right decision to buy this guitar...I will try to get some pictures posted ......Dont know if I can;it still doesnt work right...Couldnt spend much time with her,'cause I had to leave for work at 2:00p.m......EVERY time theUPS man has a delivery for me;it is ALMOST ALWAYS just before I leave....

....I remember the first time I heard Mother Maybelle Carter play that song on her acoustic guitar...It has been one of my all-time favorite instrumentals .....A lot of others come to mind I love to play:Buffalo Gals;Eight More Miles to Louisville;Goin Up Cripple Creek;the song from Deliverance-Dueling Banjos-O how I LOVE to play the guitar line from that song-trouble is,I have never had a chance to play it along with a 5 string Bluegrass banjo player--OLD 97 is a good one to play,too....I could just go on for hours,believe me!!!....

Kirkwood, Mo...or Kirksville, MO...I think that's her name and where she's from...but she and her band were playing Bluegrass & Country music last weekend and I enjoyed it immensely. She plays about 11 instruments at least and has won many awards and has played & sung with Dolly Parton & many others. She has CDS for sale and you might be able to buy them at WalMart or music stores. She is really a great player & singer! I really like Bluegrass on the fiddles, guitars and banjos! I'm just an old country gal!

I always liked Mother Maybelle, June & all the Carters and also Johnny Cash! I like the Easters & others who sing gospel!
