1.5 rings today and a little gold

My employee was sick today so instead of starting a huge job alone I decided to go detecting with my partner... What a difference a few day's makes where our troughs were Monday were replaced by deep soft sand I found 1.5 rings both silver and a 14k earring, my partner was shut out in ring dept but did pull a 14k medal so all was not lost

I got more junk today because I had to hunt closer to shore.

As they say SAND is the treasure hunters' worst enemy. I hope to soon try out those new settings. Will let you know how it goes.

I'm sitting here picking the hardened sand that forms on silver in the water's up here, I use a needle, I am cleaning the half ring lol.. I find silver coins that are coated that are paper thin at their thickest. the ring is paper thin as well
