1/4 to 1/8 adapter for connecting headphones to Equinox or WM 08

Hi Guys:

Will a regular 1/4 to 1/8 adapter work to connector my Gray Ghost or other wired headphones with 1/4 plugs to my Equinox or WM08? I think that I've heard that a regular 1/4 to 1/8 adapter is not wired correctly to turn off the speaker on the Equinox. What about using one with my WM08?

There are some out there that will work, I've had several adaptors before the minelab one came out and they where quite frustrating. After buying the Minelab adaptor with the proprietary eighth inch end I have had no issues. If your gray ghost are not minelab compatible they will work with the 08 module but when plugged into the detector they wont.

I found the Millso on the internet. I don't sell or make them. I do no that Minelab uses a proprietary plug . Sorry Rick
