Well, it has been a LONG time since I've been able to get out. Managed to spend about 40 minutes with the CTX. Not 5 minutes into my hunt I dug a 1903 Indian.... OK, I'm pumped up now! A few minutes and a few feet later, I dug a 1917 Canadian Cent (my first), dang thing is about as big as US Quarter. I had only charged the wireless unit for about a half hour, some clad and a little trash then she suddenly powers down. OK, short hunt, stole the time anyway, so home I headed ~ happy!

How does the wireless pack act when it's at low battery? Does it make any clicking sounds like the headphone plug is partial out? Does it just go dead at the end or does it play the "shutdown" tones when it goes off? Thank you for any info you can give me. I've trying to determine if I have a borderline pack or not.
