We got back on the horse again today after two back-to-back disappointing hunts. I decided to switch from the 6x8 sef to the 10x12 sef and it did not let me down. We started off the day with permission to hunt 4 houses that we have been wanting to hunt badly. I started the day using the 6x8 and pulled the 1911 barber from a good depth at the first house. The next 3 houses were absolute busts with neither of us finding anything old. We drove around ready to call it a day when we noticed somebody home at a house that we have been wanting to hunt a few blocks away. This yard ended up producing 5 silver dimes, an injun, an old silver plated spoon that dates to 1913, a junk ring and a bunch of wheats. The Goose Man ended up with a 42' Merc and a 54' roosie. My take for today was an 01' "O" barber dime, 11' barber dime, 34' and 42' mercs, an 02' injun and a few wheats. PIcs below: Bumper group shot, my finds cleaned up and Goose's merc and roosie cleaned up. I will post pics below in a following post of my finds from our last two hunts. Thanks, JJ
