During the recent rains we had I had on occasion to get out and detect. The ground was saturated to say the least. When I Auto Ground balanced I would get a 0 GB. This occurred several times. I manually GB and got a 2 and 4. Is this normal? Under normal dry conditions it GB's around the 25-35 in the same area.
Hmmmm, no Umbrella icon eh? You can be in C/T mode and Beach Tracking at the same time.
That's really weird Terry. Clean under the coil cover? (I hate to even ask you, but I have to so that it's not overlooked)
It would be interesting to measure conductive mineral levels in that ground, and compare them to when it's dry. That's all that I can think of that might cause such a dramatic difference.
It might also be worth doing a reset, just to be sure that nothing has been corrupted.
Good to hear Terry! Glad that you're back in business without having to deal with anything more serious.
GB that low just didn't jive with prior outings having GB running 25-35.
