µMAX Cutlass Questions

Hey folks, have any of you used BOTH the Cutlass and Cutlass II microMAX detectors? How are they different from each other? I see that the II version has a mode toggle switch added and plastic pole locks. Any improvememts in depth or...?

Tesoro Cutlass is 12kHz has Disc. and Sen. knobs all metal is not a true mode , Tesoro Cutlass II µMax is 10kHz Disc and Sens. and has a true all metal and disc. by a separate toggle switch. The first Cutlass is more conductive to gold while second is more to silver. I have used both supposedly the second is deeper than first but I never tested to see . And of course you can super tune the micro max models. They hit well on nickels so you know you can find the good stuff along with the oh so popular pull tab LOL. Then again I have owned just about every detector under the sun, but I always go back to a Tesoro plain and simple they work. I personally would be happy with either model.
