    Land detectors on the beach

    What do you think is a good land detector to use in wet sand?

    In Fla. how much of the beach does a condo or juke joint own to the water? The reason I ask is that a caretaker told me I couldn`t detect from their building to the water. Is it different for each property?

    Vaqero in wet sand

    I`m going to buy my first good detector. Since I will be using it approx 50% at the surfs edge or wet sand, would a Vaquero be OK or should I be looking at something else? Cary
