    The Delta-- No more doubts

I bought a Delta as my backup for my F-70 about a month ago. I have been finding small targets with the 5" DD coil that my F70 missed while rehunting sites. Today I hunted a grassy area at an old home site that I had pounded with my F70 [11" DD coil} at least 5 times. I was hunting with...

Is the Delta as deep as the Gamma

I recently bought a Delta and am impressed with the results in my coin garden. The owners manuals both state that they will detect a coin sized object at 11 inches. I know that the gamma has more features but is it really deeper than the $279 Delta. Replies appreciated.

    Delta vs Gamma

I recently bought a Delta 4000 and am quite impressed with the results after testing it in my coin garden. It is as deep as my F70 and my Time Ranger with all three in all metal mode. Does the Gamma have any advantage over the Delta?

    Buyer beware

I called the sellers of the Technetics 4000s listed on E-Bay and it is a mixed bag. Some come with only the 1/8" headphone jack and some come with 1/8 and 1/4 inch jacks. None of the ads state the jack size. A best kept secret I guess. I E- Mailed first texas to get some clarification on...

Dave----I want to buy a Delta for my son and looking at them on E-Bay it appears that some have just the 1/8 inch headphone jack and some have both the 1/8 and 1/4 inch jacks. Can you enlighten me as to the build dates and features of these two detectors? Would they both have the 2 all metal...

Seated halfdime, dimes,LC, CW button, Indians, Misc.

These are from the last two weeks of old farmstead hunting with the F70. The more I use this machine the more I like it. The Mrs. Winslows Soothing Syrup bottle was Morphine. It sold legally from 1850 to 1909 and was for teething pain. It became known as the baby killer.

    F-70 rules

I took the F-70 out for its maiden voyage today. A friend with an F-70 and I hunted some woods near the college. F-70 Air Test

I bought a used F-70 on E-Bay and checked it out today. All the functions seem to work OK. Is the five year warranty only for the original buyer? It will air test a quarter at 13 inches with max sensitivity and threshold at 0. Is this about right for the F-70...
