    Just bought a new Garrett and getting to know how to use it. In the factory-set level Discrimination/coin mode, if I toss a nickle or dime on the ground and sweep over them I don't get any indication from the machine. I'm missing out on targets. In the discrimination-zero mode everything...

    Old Garrett Value

    I have a GARRETT # 11094 MASTER ADS VLF/TR DEEP SEEKER with 7 & 10.5 search coils in excellent working order in original box, instruction manual and ear phones. The instruction manual is dated 1980. Is this the date this detector was made? Does it have any collectors value?
