    When they do videos to compare depth of 2 metal detectors, they will use similar size coils. Wouldn't they also have to use the same brand of coil to see which machine really signals deeper? Is it the coil or the machine that provides that extra depth?

    X-terra 705 still a great machine in 2023

    I've seen a couple of people say they liked the 705 for relic hunting but not for gold nugget hunting. Shouldn't it work just as well for nugget hunting?

    Highly mineralized soil

    Someone on youtube has a video showing how hard it is to detect in the highly mineralized soil of Culpepper, Virginia. Does that mean to move up to a higher Khz? Wouldn't some of the Deep Tech brand perform nicely in that type of soil?
